The loss of a junior, a 4.0 GPA student, a nice guy, Cyclone, fellow Malaysian and most of all, a friend.
He was only 20 years old.
Seet Weng, it’s so hard to wrap my head around the news of your tragic passing.
My heart struggles to come to terms with the news, my head is still in shock and very much in denial.
We may not have been particularly close, but I remember seeing you around very often during the Fall and Spring semester. Your hardworking character inspired me to press on and push myself.
Rest in peace, my friend.
You will be missed very dearly.
I’m heading to the second largest state in the USA (hint: cowboys) for this lovely week we have off.
Happy Thanksgiving!
When you and your friends spontaneously start doing moves and bobbing along to the jolly song they play in Starbucks while studying.
Here’s a sneak peak of what I did for my creative midterm project.
Tools: Yarn, ballpoint pins, foam board
Variation: Use a variety of different solid colored yarn for a different effect. (I picked this multi blue-purple combo to save money yet adding a little spice to it)
Advisory:
Don’t try to do this in a rush, you’re working with needles and the pins are not very strong.
The more detailed the picture, the more complicated and intricate it’s going to be. Also, the more pins you’ll need.
Everyone, meet Izzie. She’s not mine but I wished she was.
I stole her from a friend for the afternoon, took her to campus and played with her the entire day. She must have had the best day running around to her little puppy heart’s content.
She’s just the cutest little pup. She loves people and attention and tries to get attention from people whenever she can.
After dropping her back at night, I felt that feeling of longing for a puppy all over again. It was one of the best Saturdays of the semester.
Why, hello!
It’s has been two whole months.
I did disappear for awhile and am contemplating on stopping to blog altogether but truth is, I have been doing this for so many years. It’s kind of a part of me, even if the smallest.
I’m in my senior year right now so things have definitely been picking up, in school mostly.
Um, yeah.
Ok take care! :)
Being home has definitely been nothing short of amazing.
I’ve been spoilt with endless choices of food at any time of the day, malls open till late night, pampered with massage sessions and last but not least, family to come home to.
I noticed certain things have changed but for the most part, everything is the same – like I never left.
Just a few days ago, I got on the plane and flew back to Malaysia solo.
This time round, I intend on spending lots of time with the family, enjoy the flavors of Malaysian food and have the most wonderful summer.
I can already feel it :)
